Season Five Missions and Surveillance: "All the World's a Stage"

Mission Profile

Nikita(Peta Wilson) continues to try to find out why she was recruited into Section and who her father and the mysterious "m" are. Not getting any answers from Mr. Jones(Carlo Rota), she realizes that the current threat from The Collective is the perfect cover to bring out a man who can help her, Mick Schtopple. Although skeptical, Mr. Jones agrees to once again play the character of Schtopple if it can, in fact, get Center and Section closer to destroying the new terrorist group. Nikita uses the opportunity to get her answers and pulls a gun on him and demands to know who her father is. It is during this questioning that Mick/Mr. Jones reveals that he is not, in fact, Mr. Jones or Mick Schtoppel but rather an actor by the name of Martin hired to play the parts for the real Mr. Jones. He promises that he will set up a meeting between Nikita and the real Mr. Jones. When Nikita, shows up at Center the next day, a different man is sitting in Mr. Jones chair. The receptionist from the day before; Michelle() is replaced as well. Could Michelle be Nikita's sister? Nikita recognizes a man who breached Section days before and she had chased but did not catch, and follows him to a house in the countryside. She spies him speaking with Michelle inside the house and makes her way into the opulent house. At the top of some stairs, Michelle is waiting for her and tells her that they have been waiting for her. Nikita, cautious, makes her way to the door and as she enters questions "Father?" Meanwhile, Kate Quinn(Cindy Dolenc) makes a play toward Operations(Eugene Robert Glazer)who, at first, tells her that she cannot replace Madeline, either in her post or in his bed(the tower). He changes his mind however, and invites her to the tower. They proceed to make love and after, while Operations has his back turned, Kate takes out a contact lens(possibly a tracker or other surveillance device) and puts it in a container that belongs to Operations. Obviously, her bid to be Madeline is not what it seems.
